Walpole, MA--Growing up on a farm, Susan Brum of Hog Wild Pottery began a lifelong interest in local food, cooking, and backyard gardening. That passion inspires her “Farm to Table” collection of functional pottery.
As Sumi von Dassow said in her book, In the Potter’s Kitchen, “Potters are often passionate and talented cooks who make pots to fulfill their own needs as cooks. They strive every day to make their work not only beautiful but, supremely useful, and they test their own work in their own kitchens”. These words define Susan’s “Farm to Table” collection.
Susan has been making pottery for 18 years and continues developing her creativity by taking ongoing classes and workshops at Harvard.
