Steven Giblin is a graduate of Tabor Academy and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He received his degree in Fine Arts and Sculpture in 1988.
Steven believes that his obsession with the scale of things is the reason that he became a stone carver. He begins without any preconceived ideas to impose on the stone and simply starts carving a stone that inspires him and allows the natural progression of the process to take over.
Steven states that “getting to know a sculpture from the fine crystalline structure to the overall form of the piece within a space teaches me much about my place in the balance of the infinite Universe.”
